Kakadu – An Amazing Place To Visit In The Northern Territory

We have been all over Australia and have seen so many incredible sights. One of our favourites has to be

Kakadu in the Northern Territory.

Kakadu National Park is an area of outstanding natural beauty. There is something there for everyone. Whether you adore waterlily covered billabongs surrounded by majestic paperbark trees, rolling hills, waterfalls or just the great outdoors in general, you’ll feel very at home at Kakadu.

The Indigenous people here have made the area their home for over 50,000 years. At Ubirr, you can enjoy some incredible views over the Nadab floodplain, view ancient art and hear some amazing stories too. It may sound strange but one of the best things to do here is to take a walk when it’s monsoon season. You can see so many wonderful plants, flowers and animals in their natural habitat. That being said, any time is a great time to visit Kakadu. It’s easy to get to as it’s only around three hours from Darwin!

See you there!
